Pastor Chris has been Lead Pastor at CrossRoads since 2021. He is a native of Florida and has served at churches in North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, and Alabama. He has a Master of Arts in Religion, a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Ministries.
Pastor Chris has over 20 years of experience leading churches, campuses and ministries in spiritual growth, life change, outreach, evangelism, and community engagement through biblical teaching, creative programming, and empowering volunteers and staff to serve the church and community.
He and his wife Nikomi have three children: Cassidi, Connor, and Camden.
Pastor Brian is the founding pastor of CrossRoads and served 18 years as Lead Pastor. Upon his retirement, he has transitioned into a support role at the church. Pastor Brian and his wife Diane, also retired from CrossRoads, enjoy camping, remodeling their home, spending time with their children and grandchildren, and hitting the road on their motorcycle.
Pastor Andy has had the privilege of serving churches in the capacity of Youth, Worship and Associate pastor since 2004 in Missouri. Pastor Andy has written and recorded four albums and toured for six years. Primarily playing Christian rock, Pastor Andy also performed contemporary Christian/worship and even Southern Gospel. In 2011 Andy was ordained by the Christian Church. Originally from California, Pastor Andy met his wife Calvina in Missouri and has been married since 2004. They have been blessed with two boys and two girls. Pastor Andy’s goals are to help people know and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ through music and performance. Using contemporary methods to present and prepare people’s hearts for the truth of God’s word.
Anita and her husband Mark, have served in children’s ministry since the beginning of Crossroads. She served two rotations on the Leadership Team and in 2013 she left a 28-year career as a Certified Diabetes Educator to join the staff full time as Family Minister. She is a native of Potosi, Missouri, and graduated from the University of Missouri—Columbia. She and Mark have two daughters; Rachel who is teacher at Jackson, and Emily who is a student at Mizzou. Children’s ministry is a family affair for the Smiths. As Family Minister, Anita works closely with Gretchen in Preschool and Rachel in The Rock to coordinate programming for kids from birth through sixth grade, choosing curriculum and scheduling volunteers, reaching out to Crossroads’ families and the community through kids camp and outreach events.
Anita is passionate about connecting people to Crossroads through the Life Groups and other ministries. She coordinates the Newbies Life Group to help new attenders get to know the staff and the opportunities to connect. Anita is also behind the scenes for our outreach events and weekly activities, as well as our social media presence.

Josh entered the role of Student Pastor in 2018. Having previously served as an assistant to the ministry, he has led youth outings, taken groups to camp, prepared and shared lessons, and impacted the youth of CrossRoads for many years.
Josh and his wife Madi live north of Jackson and are parents to their daughter Ember.
Gretchen and her husband Brian have been active CrossRoaders since 2011. They live with their three young daughters Cadence, Heidi and Lexi in the forest in Cape county. She met Jesus at the ripe old age of 12 and has loved and served Him ever since. Gretchen has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from SEMO and loves creative things like music, sewing, painting, cooking and Pinterest. She and Anita love to combine forces with creativity and brainstorming to come up with fun events for CrossRoads families. Gretchen loves meeting families and enjoys getting to know the little kids in the nursery and preschool department, as well as getting to know the super team of volunteers that help nurture our youngest CrossRoaders.
Hi! My name is Rachel Barrett. I love Jesus Christ more than anything in this world. Jesus became Lord of my life when I was 7 years old He is the reason for my every breath, and I am so blessed by everything He has given me.
My favorite color is pink, my favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:16-17, my favorite food is pasta, my favorite animal is a dolphin, and I love all things chocolate and skittles.
Amanda joined the Crossroads staff in the Spring of 2011 as Administrative Assistant, and in 2015 switched roles to Financial Secretary. Amanda processes the weekly contributions, payroll, and accounts payable.
She grew up in Oran, Missouri and attended Southeast Missouri State University where she received an Associate's Degree in Childcare and Guidance. Amanda has nearly 15 years of administrative experience including banking, human resources, management, and customer service.
Amanda is a member at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson, MO. In her free time she enjoys cooking, entertaining, and being outdoors. Amanda and her husband Josh live in Jackson with their three children Katy, Jay, and Mackenzie.
Emily has been part of the CrossRoads family since 2016 serving as secretary. She facilitates the weekly bulletin, maintains the app and website, answers incoming calls, and fields a variety of other responsibilities in the office.
She was born and raised in Jackson and has extensive secretarial background as well as marketing, graphic design, project management, and website maintenance experience.
Emily is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson. Her free time finds her attempting new craft projects, volunteering for community and church events, and organizing things (even if they don’t need to be organized!) Along with her husband Justice and two children Rylan and Alden, she also enjoys fishing, camping, and playing board games.
Gabe joined the CrossRoads staff in 2018, though he has been serving at CrossRoads for several years. He oversees the maintenance of the building and grounds including the tech that is used throughout the building.
Gabe, his wife Becky, and their two children live in Jackson.
