Childrens Ministry

  • Kids Connect (K-4th Grade)

On Sunday mornings bring your children to Kids Connect. We will check them in quickly and have a light snack available. At both the 9:00 and 10:30 services we have a great team of volunteers who love kids and love sharing Jesus with them. We use large screen projection to engage them in contemporary worship music and a video-supported Bible lesson. We break into smaller age-related groups to dig a little deeper into the main point of the day then gather back to wrap it all up. Third and fourth graders have their own room with a little more “big kid” tone. You are welcome to spend a Sunday with us to see what we do.

  • The Rock (5th & 6th grade)

Our preteens gather at both the 9:00 and 10:30 services for Bible study and lessons about putting God’s word to work in their lives. We have a rotation of awesome teachers who get to know our preteens, and Rachel Barrett coordinates the weekly ministry, fun activities, and service projects.

  • Youth (7th-12th grade)

Donnie Shaw leads our student ministry which meets every Wednesday at 6:00 pm. Students in grades 7-12 order pizza and hang out until around 6:30 when they start Bible lessons and group studies.

Students get together for activity-based outreach every Sunday. Whether it’s ultimate Frisbee at the park, Octoball, or a Nerf dart war at the church they have a great time being together. It’s a perfect chance to check out the group whether you are “all in” for the games or want to watch from the sides and see how it all turns out.

Disciple Now (DNow) is a multi-church community event in the winter. Our students spend two nights in host homes with dynamic Bible study leaders and join with several hundred other students from area churches for high-energy worship, outrageous recreation, and life-changing messages. Back at the host homes, leaders bring the themed message in close for late night discussion. Your students will come home changed for Christ.

In late summer CrossRoads students attend camp where they spend a week bonding as a group, engaging with leaders, and enjoying top-quality recreation.
